Hello world!, again

It’s been a while since I wrote the last post on this blog, and I haven’t had the chance to do it. Between work and all the side projects I’m working on, I haven’t had time, but I think it’s time to get back to it.

After all, this space is for me: a place where I can unload my thoughts, so my mind can clear itself a little from everything I see during the day, so let’s keep going.

The latest change I’ve added (thanks in large part to Codex) is translation support for all my posts, in this case only to English. I’ll write about this implementation very soon.

I’ve decided to start writing in Spanish, mainly because it’s my first language, and it’s easier for me to express my ideas and thoughts that way. Besides, the Anglosphere is too large to keep generating content in English. That said, I still think it’s important to keep content in English, so I’ll be doing the translations automatically with an LLM.

Not long ago, a friend asked me why I used to write in English on my blog. My answer was that it’s the main language of the Internet, I use it every day at work, and many technical programming terms are better expressed in that language. However, I think it’s important for there to be more technical content originally written in Spanish than what is currently available (even though we can always translate something with Google Translate or something similar), and that’s why I decided to switch to Spanish.

Anyway, I’m back, and I hope to be more consistent. Greetings to whoever reads this!
